Day 1 — Entering the Desert

Lunch break

The tamarisk trees offer their shade — discreet, generous desert trees that seem to know exactly what a walker needs after a few hours on the sand. The fire crackles softly, the tajine fills the warm air with spice. Fresh bread, fruit, mint tea served and re-served — because in the desert, the tea never really stops. No rush. Afternoon Exploration
